Michigan Public Health celebrates faculty, staff, students for excellence
Students, faculty and staff from the University of Michigan School of Public Health were commended during the fourth annual Public Health Honors on April 23. The event, held at the Rogel Ballroom in the Michigan Union, recognized the outstanding efforts and achievements of individuals who have exceeded expectations in the areas of public health research, education, community service and public engagement.
April Zeoli receives 2024 presidential award for public engagement
Zeoli, associate professor of Health Management and Policy at the School of Public Health, received the President’s Award for Public Impact. She is the nation’s leading expert on policy interventions for firearm use in intimate partner violence.

Justin Heinze named 'Innovation Champion' by the U-M Office of the Vice President of Research
Twenty U-M faculty leaders were named ‘Innovation Champions’ by the university's Office of the Vice President of Research. This inaugural cohort will serve as peer-level departmental contacts, sharing information and resources to amplify the impact of researcher innovations.
