Bhramar Mukherjee named Distinguished University Professor
Bhramar Mukherjee, John D. Kalbfleisch Collegiate Professor and chair of Biostatistics at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, has been awarded the university’s highest professorship of Distinguished University Professor.
Justin Heinze receives Henry Russel Award
Justin Heinze, associate professor of Health Behavior and Health Education, was one of four recipients of the Henry Russel Awards, the university’s highest honor for early or mid-career faculty members.
Two Michigan Public Health faculty receive American Statistical Association awards
Bhramar Mukherjee and Jeremy Taylor of Michigan Public Health’s Department of Biostatistics received prestigious awards from the American Statistical Association. Mukherjee received the Karl E. Peace Award for Outstanding Statistical Contributions for the Betterment of Society and Taylor the Samuel S. Wilks Memorial Award.

Lu Wang, professor of Biostatistics at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, was appointed a 2023 Fellow of the American Statistical Association (ASA) for her contributions to the advancement of statistical science.
