Darrell Hudson named vice provost for access and opportunity

Darrell Hudson, the James S. Jackson Collegiate Professor and chair of the Department of Health Behavior and Health Equity, has been appointed Vice Provost for Access and Opportunity, effective November 1, 2026. A two-time Michigan Public Health graduate, Hudson brings extensive leadership, research, mentoring and expertise in racial, ethnic and socioeconomic health inequities to the university-wide role.
