Join our Public Health Career Fairs

The Michigan Public Health Careers Office hosts 2 Career Fairs each year, providing employers the opportunity to connect with and recruit talented students for internships, projects, research, and jobs. Employers can choose to participate in one or both fairs based on their recruiting timelines and goals.

  • Fall Public Health Career Fair: Mid-September
    • Recruiting Focus: private sector and hospital administration fellowships and internships
  • Winter Public Health Career Fair: Mid-January
    • Recruiting Focus: non-profit, government, health systems, educational systems, research institutes
  Employer Experience: “The fair was awesome - it was a great chance for us to better understand the profile of SPH students and it was nice to meet the career services team and establish ourselves as an employer of choice in the Michigan community.”

2025 - 2026 Career Fair Dates & Registration

We are excited to invite employers to join us for our 2025-2026 Career Fairs. The fall fair tends to align with private sector and hospital administration recruiting timelines; the winter fair often aligns with non-profit, government, health systems, educational system, and research institute recruiting timelines. Employers can register for the fair(s) that best align with their recruiting goals.

Please note that there are no fees for employers to participate, and we will provide parking vouchers as well as an engaging environment to interact with Michigan Public Health students. 

  • Upon registering, you will be able to indicate the specific Michigan Public Health degrees and departments that you are interested in recruiting. 
  • During the fair, students will introduce themselves to you, provide resumes, share about their interest in working at your organization, and ask questions about the organization or positions.
  • Organizations can share about various positions including internships, jobs, or volunteer projects.

Career Fair Schedule

Each fair will take place on a Friday afternoon in order to best align with student availability and recruiter traveling. Below is the general schedule for our career fairs. This timing for the schedule may be altered for each fair based on scheduling and availability. 

  • 11:30 - 12:00 pm - Employer Lunch (If budget allows)
  • 12:00 - 12:30 pm - Set Up Tables for the Employer Fair 
  • 12:30 - 3:00 pm - Employer Fair 
  • 3:00 - 3:30 pm - Pack Up Supplies
