Career Workshops

Career Preparation Workshops

In order to support students in building their confidence in their Public Health career journey and their application skills, we offer a variety of workshops in different settings including: courses, virtual & in-person programming, student organization meetings, and Michigan Public Health summer programs.

Student Experience: "It was an absolutely wonderful workshop for all who find the job search process to be daunting. The holistic approach to a job search, from the emotional to the follow up process, was meticulously outlined in the resources shared with us."

Career Workshops in Michigan Public Health Classes

Each year, we offer career preparation workshops in large classes to reach undergraduate, MS, and MPH students with this important content.

Student Experience: "I really appreciate Career Services presenting to us in this course to help us prepare for internships/APEx as well as general job search/application/interview skills! I feel more confident knowing I have the support and knowledge.”

Student Experience: “Ari & the careers team have really helped the internship search feel more manageable, and I really appreciate all the thought and effort that has gone into the resources they’ve presented! The resume session was also SO helpful, I learned a ton that I didn’t know and feel a lot more confident in my resume now.”
