Research Interests & Projects
As a U.S. Army Registered Dietitian (RD), I am interested in how weight stigma impacts
U.S. service members. My research focuses on characterizing weight stigma prevalence
and determining the psychosocial impact of weight stigma within the military context.
Current research focuses on Identifying the impact of weight stigma on eating and
weight control behaviors, as well as the potential contribution of stress in these
relationships.
