About the Certificate
The University of Michigan School of Public Health (U-M SPH) and the University of Michigan Injury Prevention Center (U-M IPC) have worked together to offer the Certificate in Injury Science. Available to both MPH and non-MPH students, the Certificate in Injury Science aims to provide its graduates with an understanding of urgent injury issues through research, education, outreach, practice, and prevention. The injury topics covered throughout the certificate program align closely with the U-M IPC’s focus areas, including opioid overdose, suicide prevention, violence, concussion, motor vehicle crash, older adult falls, global injury prevention, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and other emerging areas.
Additional information can be found at the U-M Injury Prevention Center web page.
