Gail Warden Leadership Academy

The Health Management & Policy Department is excited to launch the Gail L. Warden Leadership Academy. Named in honor of Mr. Gail Warden, this transformative initiative is aimed at developing the next generation of leaders in healthcare and public health. At the University of Michigan's Department of Health Management and Policy, our commitment to leadership and innovation remains unparalleled. Through the Academy, we aim to equip students with the leadership skills needed to tackle complex challenges and lead in an ever-evolving healthcare landscape.

This initiative builds on the success of the Gail Warden Fellows program and reflects the ongoing vision of Gail Warden, whose support and leadership have been instrumental in shaping HMP’s legacy of excellence. By endowing the Leadership Academy, we will continue to provide students with cutting-edge, practical leadership training that will accelerate leadership development, not only setting Michigan students apart from graduates of other programs but equipping them to lead and truly transform healthcare.
