The Internship & Job Search Essentials 7-week series offers critical training, preparation, and practice for students to navigate the current job market. During the sequence, students will actively engage in developing tangible deliverables that they will use for their personalized internship or job search. Deliverables Produced through the Series: Identified target career field(s) based on student interests and goals List of skills required to obtain a position in target career field and plan to acquire skills List of target organizations for the student’s internship/job search Personalized internship/job search schedule to enhance time and project management Updated LinkedIn profile showcasing relevant skills and experiences Resume tailored for the target career field Cover letter tailored for the target career field List of networking contacts and personalized outreach messages Introduction/elevator pitch to share in various networking contexts List of interview questions and answers for student’s target career field Job offer negotiation strategies and responses
