Collaboration breaks down when people avoid hard conversations or silence disagreement. This session invites participants to see conflict as information, not threat, and to practice curiosity and accountability in communication. The goal is to replace avoidance with skill and to build habits of feedback and repair that strengthen relationships. Objectives: reframe conflict as an ordinary part of collective work, build confidence in addressing tension directly and constructively, and strengthen habits of feedback and curiosity across roles and perspectives. Participants Will: identify personal conflict styles and the assumptions that guide them, practice Nonviolent communication, Apology and Accountability frameworks for addressing disagreement, and co-create a set of group “Conflict” agreements for how to navigate tension and repair. Outcomes: practical language and methods for engaging disagreement, shared norms for feedback and conflict across teams, and greater comfort naming issues early and working through them with care.
