We believe nature can heal. After just 10 minutes in nature, stress decreases, and people report noticeable improvements in their focus, mood, and energy levels. How do we cultivate moments in nature that can bring restorative health benefits? Join SEAS graduate student and MBGNA intern, Kelly Egusa, for a guided walk introducing participants to various ways to connect with nature and cultivate an individual sense of presence, awareness, and awe.
Inspired by the popularity of Wonder Walks at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens, we are excited to offer Awe in the Arb at the Nichols Arboretum. Join us on select Saturdays at 1:00pm for a guided amble or activity. Designed by students for students, Awe in the Arb will help you discover a sense of awe, appreciation, and admiration throughout all seasons.
Free; no registration required. Meet at the entrance to the Arb at 1610 Washington Heights.
