    Prerequisite: Bioinformatics 523, Epidemiology 515, Biology 305, or consent of instructor.

Statistical reasoning as learned in one of the following pairs of courses or equivalent courses:
Biostatistics 601: Probability and Distribution Theory (4) + Biostatistics 602: Biostatistical Inference (4)
Statistics 425: Introduction to Probability (3) + Statistics 426: Introduction to Theoretical Statistics (3)
    Prerequisites: Multivariable calculus and linear algebra.

Statistical human genetics as learned in the following course or equivalent courses:
Biostatistics 666: Statistical Models and Numerical Methods in Human Genetics (3)
    Prerequisite: Biostatistics 601, Statistics 425, or equivalent.

Computation in biomedicine as learned in one of the following courses or equivalent courses:
Bioinformatics 575: Programming Laboratory in Bioinformatics (3)
Biostatistics 615: Statistical Computing (3)
Human Genetics 551: Computational Genomics (3)
