RCRS/RR and PEERRS

Trainees are required to complete a one credit discussion-based course on the Responsible Conduct of Research and Scholarship (RCRS) and Rigor and Reproducibility (RR). Courses that fulfill this requirement are:
Biostatistics 810: Approaches to the Responsible Practice of Biostatistics (1)
Epidemiology 889: Responsible Conduct of Research and Scholarship (1)
PIBS 503: Research Responsibility and Ethics (1) and
    PIBS 504: Rigor, Reproducibility, and Transparency in Research (1)

PEERRS:  In addition to RCR and RR, trainees are required to complete the University of Michigan’s online Program for Education and Evaluation in Responsible Research and Scholarship. PEERRS is a web-based instruction and certification program for all UM faculty, staff, and trainees who are engaged in research.  PEERRS is in addition to RCRS and RR.
