Research Interests & Projects
My methodological work focuses on Bayesian shrinkage methods for semiparametric modeling, advised
by Drs. Jeremy Taylor and Philip Boonstra. My applied interests centers on prostate
cancer (with Drs. Matthew Schipper, Dan Spratt, and Bob Dess), the Flint water crisis
(with Dr. Jerel Ezell), and health disparities.
In addition, I am passionate about public health ethics, the intersection between
public health and human rights, and biostatisticians' role as public intellectuals
and advocates.
