Online in Zoom
The Integrated Health Sciences Core's (IHSC) webinar series is an interdisciplinary forum for interested researchers to come together to learn and discuss wide-ranging issues in the field of environmental health. John J. Lenhart is a Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geodetic Engineering at The Ohio State University and Co-Director of the Ohio Water Resources Center. His research focuses on contaminant fate and transport, with an emphasis on characterizing interfacial processes in heterogeneous systems. His current microplastics research examines their occurrence in natural and drinking waters, with particular emphasis on quantifying and identifying the sub-micron, or “nanoplastic,” fraction.
