Ever since her time at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, Jasmina Cunmulaj, MPH ’22, envisioned being able to influence policy decisions and promote better global public health practices at an impactful level. Now, as the strategic partnerships and leadership manager at the European Public Health Alliance (EPHA), she is positioned to make those dreams a reality.
Inspiration can come from anywhere—a song, a once-forgotten conversation, a scene playing out at the grocery store. For Theadra Fleming, MPH ’95, inspiration for one of the most meaningful projects of her life—a quilt designed to celebrate the DEI 2.0 Strategic Plan Rollout—came from the brick pattern on the outside of her house.
Kris Sarri, MPH ’97, exemplifies the University of Michigan mission of becoming leaders and best through her lifelong dedication to bettering the earth’s health through policy and action. Today, Sarri’s storied career is built upon two decades of work in Washington, DC, at the highest levels of the federal government.
