Christine M. La Jeunesse serves as the Division Administrator in the Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology and Diabetes in the Department of Internal Medicine at Michigan Medicine. Responsibilities in this role include academic physician practice management, strategy, operations, human resources, finance, communications, and business development elements of the division across its clinical, research and education missions. Prior to her current role, Christine served in multiple roles within Michigan Medicine focused on finance, strategy and operations, including launching a system-wide performance improvement initiative and establishment of a Program Management Office (PMO) and serving as the Administrative Director for the Congenital Heart Center at University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.

Christine is a lecturer in the School of Public Health’s Health Management and Policy Department. Since 2019, she has co-taught HMP682, Integrated Learning Experience in Health Management and Policy, a capstone course for second-year residential Master of Public Health and Master of Health Services Administration students.
