Mark Bicket

Mark C. Bicket, MD, PhD, FASA

Dr. Bicket has research interests in the use of health services research, clinical trials and pharmacoepdemiological methods to inform policy and improve outcomes. His work has an emphasis on acute healthcare settings such as surgery, dentistry, and emergency medicine. He has provided scientific guidance on healthcare, opioid, and pain policy to government agencies and and organizations at the federal, regional, and state levels, including the National Academy of Medicine and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He also co-directs the Overdose Prevention Engagement Network (OPEN).
