Zine & Be Seen is a collaborative workshop hosted by OACC and SPH community experts. For the month of February, OACC is partnering with the Public Health Students of African Descent (PHSAD). This month’s theme is Celebrating Black History and Climate Activism in Public Health. Centered in Black-led scholarship, organizing, and lived experience, the workshop uses zine-making to examine environmental racism, climate-related health inequities, and collective care. The workshop treats creativity as a form of public health practice. No art experience required.
