The SPH Public Health Practice and Global Engagement Team partners with the Provost's Global Engagement Team to host Pre-Departure Travel Health and Safety workshops with key information for students traveling abroad during summer 2026. These sessions cover: U-M related travel requirements, safety and health considerations, procedures for emergencies, the GeoBlue/BCBS Global Solutions travel abroad health insurance program and benefits, resilient travel, mental health and documenting your experience. Attendance is required for all students who receive funding from the Public Health Practice and Global Engagement Team. These sessions are also open to all students and travelers, from any unit on campus, with a focus on summer 2026 experiences.
