Public Health Practice & Global Engagement (PHPGE) at Michigan Public Health supports opportunities for innovative multidisciplinary global health engagement, transparent partnership, and capacity building. The PHPGE Doctoral Travel Awards provide a travel stipend of up to $10,000 to University of Michigan School of Public Health (SPH) doctoral students in the first two years of their program. Funding is intended to support preliminary visits to prospective overseas dissertation sites, to facilitate planning doctoral dissertation research, or to support other research-related expenses for dissertation preparation.
