Training: BA Mathematics, Boston College (2014); MS Biostatistics, The University of Michigan (2016)
Research Focus: I am interested in researching the impact that genetics/epigenetics have on chronic
diseases, specifically cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cognitive aging. As part
of my doctoral research, I plan to study how genetics/epigenetics act as independent
risk factors for these chronic diseases. Additionally, I plan to explore how interactions
between genetic and non-genetic social determinants, such as socioeconomic status,
race/ethnicity, and psychosocial factors, affect chronic disease outcomes.
